Migrants - Lady Ann - 1862

The following arrived in Adelaide in March 1862 on the Lady Ann: Benjamin Coumbe, Edgar Coumbe, Alice Coumbe / Ellis Coumbe, John Coumbe, Selina Coumbe and Susan Coumbe.

John Coumbe died in Adelaide in March 1863 aged 50. Selina, his daughter, married James George O’Daniel in 1874 at St Paul Church, Adelaide.  They had children in South Australia: Emily Alice O'Daniel 1876, James George O'Daniel 1878, Edgar John O'Daniel 1880, William Henry O'Daniel 1882, Albert Edward O'Daniel 1884, Elsie May O'Daniel 1887, Selina Annie O'Daniel 1889, Percival Richard O'Daniel 1891, Leonard Coumbe O'Daniel 1896.  Leonard enlisted in WWI from their home in Hyde Park, SA.

Another (now uncontactable) researcher has the family group as John and Susanna, with children Benjamin, Edgar, Alice and John having been born in London.
