Adjacent Parishes
Most of my Cornwall research into the Coumbe (also Combe and Coombe) family is pertinent to the parish of North Hill (also known as Northill).
Additional research has expanded into the adjacent parishes of Altarnun and Lewannick. The 1880s Ordnance Survey map below shows the three parishes. Aproximate road distances between the three centres are: - North Hill to Lewannick: about 3 miles - Lewannick to Altarnun: about 3.5 miles - North Hill to Altarnun: about 5.5 miles.
